I’m from Sandnes, a little place outside Kirkenes, where I have lived most of my life, but after some moving around I have now lived some years in Tromsø.

I have been interested in dogs all my life. In the begining it was hiking and tricks that was the fun, but the interest grew to sleddogs and then to search, tracking, agility and obedience. Now I’m active in the nordic program (search and tracking), and like it best when I’m in the forest with my dogs. We can also be found on the obedience area quite often. I have been wery lucky and tried a lot of different dogsports, and have learned a lot from many talented persons in the dogworld.

Other interests is hiking all year round, and I try to be on tentingtrips the most of the weekens and hollydays.

I’m responsible for the workingdogkomitee in Tromsø dogclub and I’m sitting in the board for the Norwegian Australian Shepherd and Cattledog Club. I’m also educatet as a figurant for mentaltests for dogs.

Tormod Grønaas, owns the shorthaired dog..

Tormod is from Vadsø, but is alsow living in Tromsø. He likes it in the cold north with all that comes with it; nature, weather and the experiences.

He have grown up with dogs at home; everything from Husky to Giant Schnauzer.
Dogs have made it naturaly to be outside in the forest and on the mountains, and tenting in many days summer and winter. He meens that nothing beats to glide over the snow with sleddogs, and his childhood has resultated in his interest for dogs.

He alsow like to go hiking all year, is active in our local basketball club and likes padling with his kajakk.
